Ipsy time! Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that is $10 each month and contains 4-5 deluxe size samples to full size products and a cosmetic bag. They send products based on your profile and reviews.
Ipsy comes in a shiny pink envelope, which is fun but I think allows for products to be broken/damaged a little more easily. They will replace any damaged products though. Ipsy does not send a card with the items listed on it so you have to do a little research if you want to see what the full size prices would be.
Ipsy sends all the items in a cute cosmetic bag each month. Who needs a bag a month, you ask? Um, those of us that are addicted to cute bags! HA! Seriously, that was definitely one of the selling points for me. So far my bags have been cute and well made. I was worried they would be pretty cheap. I can always fill them with goodies and use them as gifts.
Below are the items I got and my first impressions, it's a mixed bag (no pun intended, okay maybe a little intended).
Emite Make Up Eye Lash Curler
What can I say about this? It's an eye lash curler. It's not overly exciting but I currently do not have a curler so I'm happy to have it. It can with 3 additional pads so that was really nice and unexpected.
City Color Creamy Lip Stain in Flirtini .078oz
This is a really pretty color, a matte rose pink. It's really smooth and super creamy. I really like this and can't wait to use it.
Model Co. Blush in Cosmopolitan 01 .12oz
This is a very light pink blush. It looks a little darker in the pan but is not very pigmented, which I actually like in a blush because I can build up the color instead of having to try and limit it.
Mitchell and Peach Fine Radiance Face Oil in Flora No. 1 .34oz
This is a face oil that you put on before your moisturizer. The scent doesn't seem too strong so that's nice since it goes on the face. I'm anxious to see if this helps and gives me radiance.
Eva NYC Up All Night Volume Spray 1oz
Unfortunately, this came broken in my bag and was completely spilled. I can tell you that it smells nice since the entire bag smelled of it. I contacted IpsyCare and they responded with minutes and a new one is on the way. Very happy with that customer service! I am anxious to try this because I have very fine hair and need all the volume I can get!
Overall, I'm happy with this Ipsy bag. You can't beat the price of $10 and all of these items. I will use all of them. As I use them I will put reviews up so you can see what I think of them. What did you get in your Ispy bag?
