In my effort to find more dollar deals I decided to head to Target and check out the "dollar spot". I can usually find something there. I was mostly going this time because I had watched a YouTube video (surprise, surprise) from DoItOnADime that included some stationary items from the dollar spot at Target. It just motivated me to see if I could find something that I might not normally have purchased that would work for my current planner.
I was able to find some stuff that worked for me. I got some cute sticky notes, pretty folders, a notepad and a small accordion file that was an extra 70% off, yes I only paid 30¢! I'm going to use that to sort my stickers I just ordered from Etsy and probably the sticky notes too. By the way, that will be my first order from Etsy. I'm a little excited and will blog about it once I receive my products.
I also decided to check out the makeup while I was there, I mean, how could I resist? When I came to Physician's Formula they had peelies on almost all of their powders and bronzers. And those peelies were Buy One Get One Free! Woo Hoo! So, yes, I bought some. I wish I would have had coupons with me as well but I still felt I got a pretty good deal. Side note: I'm not sure I'll use the brushes that came with the powders. They are a little small and the heart shaped one is, well, interesting. I don't think I know how to use it. haha
One of my favorite finds at Target from a while back was a lunch bag for $2.50. I've used that thing for years and love it. What kind of deals have you found at the Target dollar spot? What kind of last minute unexpected deals have you found?
