I really love seeing that pink bubble envelope in my mailbox. This came a little sooner than I thought it would too so that was an added bonus. I always look at the "sneak peaks" but it's totally different actually holding the products in your hands.
Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for $10 a month. They send 4-5 deluxe samples to full size products each month along with a cosmetics bag. You fill out a quiz with your preferences and you can retake it at any time.
Here is what I receive and my first impressions of the March "Floral Fantasy" bag. Let me start off by saying the cosmetics bag this month (see above) wasn't my favorite. Not that I expected them all to be ones I love. I do, however, think my mom will really like this and will probably gift it to her with some goodies in it.
Pūr~lisse™ Soy Milk Cleanser and Makeup Remover 1oz
This says it will wash away dirt and makeup (even mascara), sooth and tone skin. It's sulfate free and non-drying and for all skin types. That seems like a lot of claims for one product to make but I guess anything is possible. I am excited to try it since it is a makeup remover and cleanser in one. The smell of this is neither awesome or horrible, which I guess is a good thing for a cleaner. Use code IpsyMarch30 for a 30% discount and a free gift.
LeeAnni Eco. 3 in 1 Revolution LIGHT .5oz
Another product that does a bunch of stuff. This states it is a toner, serum and moisturizer in one for normal to oily skin. It's natural, gluten free and vegan. This one also has that in between smell, if that even makes sense. I will try this out and see how it goes. I've never heard of this brand before so it's nice to try something new. Use code IPSY15 for a 15% discount.
NYX butter™ Lipstick in Little Susie .16oz
I believe this is a full size product, which is awesome. When I saw the sneak peak it showed the dark/violet color and I was a little worried. The color I received is a cute pink, more of a bubble gum pink than a nude. I've heard a lot of good things about the NYX butters so I'm really excited this came in the bag. And I'm glad it's a color that I'm not afraid to wear out. Use code NYXBUTTER for 25% off the butter lipsticks.
Pixi by Petra Mesmerizing Mineral Duo in Apricot Glow .03oz
This little package is so stinkin' adorable. I like the samples when I'm just trying new products (not that I would complain about getting a full size by any means). This is a duo of two colors, they are shimmery, both on the broze side, one quite a bit lighter. They actually don't seem quite as dark when I swatch them as when they are in the package. I'm glad I received some more neutrals. I use a lot of dark purples and such so I need to try up some new looks. Use code IPSYMAR15 for 20% off your purchase.
Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush
I'm probably most excited about this in my Ipsy bag. I feel like I am behind the times on makeup brushes so I really appreciate getting new ones to try. As the name states this is a duel brush. One end has a very fluffy shadow brush and the other is more of a pencil/crease brush. I don't like the dual ended brushes for storage but it's nice to technically get two brushes. Super glad to get this. Use code crownipsy30 for a 30% discount.
This may sound like a repeat but for $10 I'm pretty happy with this Ipsy subscription. I feel like I got my moneys worth just in the brush and lipstick. I also went in to check details for this blog and they had the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara under the points and I had enough so that should come in my next bag. Yay!
